Every summer the library offers special programming for youth ages 3 and older. This summer we are getting Wild About Books. Whether reading with a parent or reading independently, we are encouraging our youth to "Take 20" and read at least 20 minutes 20 days in June and 20 days in July. Tracking calendars are available at the circulation desk. Weekly giveaways are provided by the library.
In addition to the reading program, the library offers a variety of programs. You can browse our event calendar here.
The library is also a great place to hang out. Our wild animals are out all summer long just waiting for kids to stop by. Pretend to be a zoo keeper at our dramatic play areas. There are plenty of other activities to keep kids busy such as scavenger hunts, bingo, board games, building blocks, puzzles and Legos.
So, why wait? Stop by for the fun! It will be a wild time!
