Every summer the library offers special programming that makes reading and library visits fun. This summer is no exception. Especially designed for children preschool through 4th grade, the library is ready to help children grow in their reading.

Whether reading with a parent or reading independently, children are encouraged to become "reading monsters and gobble up books" all summer long. Encouraging reading at least 20 minutes, 20 days in June and July helps children continue the joy of reading while maintaining and growing early literacy and reading skills.  The library provides tracking calendars and weekly giveaways to keep it fun.

The library is also a wonderful place to hang out. Visit us Monday through Thursday 10am-6pm and Saturday 10am -2pm and enjoy activities such as scavenger hunts and games.
