Thursday, March 12, 5:30-6:30 PM – Award-winning author and journalist, Fern Schumer Chapman, will share the moving story of her journey with her mother to find their past, as well as the horrific tragedy of the Holocaust that haunts it. Her program, “Edith’s Immigration Story,” details the childhood immigration story of the author’s mother, an unaccompanied minor, who fled Nazi Germany in 1938 all by herself.
