The Oglesby Public Library is hosting a Meet the Candidates Forum for the general election which takes place on Tuesday, April 7. Individuals seeking office for elected positions within the city have been invited to appear on Thursday, March 26 at 6pm.
Each candidate in the race for mayor, city commissioner, and library trustee has been invited to introduce themselves to the community and give a brief statement about themselves and what they plan to accomplish if elected. After all candidates have spoken they will be available for questions.
The program is open to the public free of charge.
